15 Months

I can not believe my son is 15 months old. He has changed so much and becoming such a smart little man. He usually listen to commands very well and loves to talk. Although he talks a lot there are not many words that he says. He says uh oh, Momma, Daddy, Dog, Hot, Bye bye, whats this, and sometimes it sounds like he says Jason. He randomly says other words but not consistent. He is now in a phase where he will walk to the refrigerator or pantry and motion a give me gesture with his hand when he wants a snack or more milk or anything for that matter. He has learned to get a diaper for me as well as throw his away. He loves to be a big boy and try and carry his own book bag when we go places. I always know when Jason is ready to leave wherever we are because he will grab his bag and try and go towards the door. He continues to surprise me every day and I love watching him turn into a little man. Friday we went to his well visit and he did so well. He is 32in(77%) 25.5lbs(82.6%) and a big head 18 3/4(71.8%). I find it amusing because everyone talks about how short and fat he is but we proved them wrong based on his stats.

Happy at his 15 month well visit

Poor little man he is so pretty I had to see why everyone said he looked like a girl

Watch out ladies I can drive now

Love me little family

Nothing like a little sand in your crack

You know just bouncing with my friends

Mommy wow I'm a big kid now

Happy Birthday Baby Boy!!!!

Happy Birthday Jason! This year has flew by and I am so blessed to call you my son. You are the best gift I could have ever asked for. You are such a smart and happy baby. I get complements on how happy you are all the time. Now that you can walk you try and run everywhere and it is the cutest thing ever. At your one year check up you weighed 23.1 lbs(75%) and 30in (55%) and perfect. We had a pool party for your birthday at Aunt Stacey's house and had a great turn out. Mommy had fun making the decorations with the help of Laura and Jennifer. I hope that this next year slows down a little bit because you are growing too fast. I do love watching you learn  new things. You are becoming more vocal everyday. Some of your words are mama, dada, night night, bye, and a lot of other things that I cant make out just yet but you love to talk. You are now loving being outside and getting into any and everything you can. We are going to the beach next weekend and I know your going to have a blast.

Walkie Walkie Walkie

We officially have a walker or as nanny says walkie walkie walkie. Jason has been taking steps for a couple months but he is now walking more than crawling. He still will crawl if he falls after walking for a while. He also does not need to rely on pulling himself up on something else. He can stand from a sitting position and just take off.  When I picked him up from daycare they said all he wanted to do all day was walk. I am so proud of him. Here is the video we got of him last night.

11 Months

Happy 11 months Bug. I can't believe in one short month you will be a year old. You continue to light up my world and I am so blessed to have you. You still only have 7 teeth. You are becoming more independent however you still cling to mommy a lot. I am working on not acting on your ever cry. Every time we drop you off at the nursery at church we always here how happy you are and that makes mommy very happy. The other day when nanny was putting you in the car she was telling you bye and you called her nanny. You love to talk and dance. I love it when you will talk to me and you use your hands to talk. I tried to get a video of it but you seem to always stop and want to play with mommy's phone. When you hear music you will stop what you are doing and throw one hand in the air and start dancing....Just too cute. We started you on whole milk this past weekend and you seem to be doing fine with it so far. I hope you continue to do well on it. You still are not walking yet. The most steps you have taken were 3 but that was only once. Since then you will only take one and when you go to take another your foot will roll and you fall to the floor. I know when you are ready you will take off and wont stop. Mommy and daddy love you big boy!!!!

10 Months

Ten months really!!!! I do not know where the time has gone but I have enjoyed every second with my son. This past month has been a crazy month. You had a really bad weekend a couple weeks ago. Daycare called me on a Friday to let me know that you had thrown up and had three diarrhea so I picked you up and brought you home. Daddy and I had a rehearsal dinner to go to Friday night and a wedding Saturday night and Nanny Jeffcoat watched you for us. Poor nanny had a rough time with you because you were just not yourself. Grandma Jeffcoat came over and had to help her Saturday night because you were so fussy and continued to throw up and have diaper explosions. Mommy felt so bad that I was not there to help you feel better. That Sunday was Easter so daddy went to church and mommy took you to the Dr where they said you had an stomach virus and an EAR INFECTION...really after tubes you still get one...oh well that's another story. You bounced back really quick and became our happy baby.

This month you have also had both your "I" teeth break and one middle tooth come in. I just love seeing you smile with those big ole teeth. You are also becoming more consistent with waving hi and bye. MAJOR milestone for mommy is that you said MAMA....you do not say it often and daddy and I believe you mock me when I try and get you to say it and all you will say is DADA....Daddy loves it though. You have become such a talker and although I have no idea what you say I love to hear you talk. One of my favorites is when you say nite nite....Every night after you have your bottle I will say nite nite and you will bury your head either into me or in the couch and say nite nite. You continue to go down well for me. However the other night when mommy went to the gym and daddy tried to put you down you cried for a while until daddy picked you back up and when mommy got home we played for a second and then I went and put you down and you went right out. We might have to make sure daddy starts to put you down more so that you can get used to him doing so. We have you drinking out of your sippy cup throughout the day and only give you a bottle when you wake up and go to bed. We will soon try and exchange those within the next two months.

Just this past weekend you have learned to clap and will do it non stop. For mommy this was one of my favorites as I have been trying to get you to clap forever. You are also starting to stand indepently. You are getting stronger each time and actualy took one step this weekend so I have a feeling that you might be walking a little this time next month. We shall see.

Mommy and daddy love you baby boy.

Tubes

This morning we had to be at the surgery center at 6:45 this morning and go figure its the one day that I have to wake Jason up instead of him waking us up. We arrived at 6:30 and we called back immediately. Jason was such a big boy and everyone loved him as always. I was worried that he would be fussy because he was not able to have his bottle yet. He definitely surprised me with how well he did. Dr Thompson was running a little late so 10 minutes prior to going into surgery he started to get a little fussy. He was literately only back there for like 10 minutes and then I was called back to see him. Poor thing was crying so hard. He calmed down when I first held him but then he was uncontrollable. They told me he took a couple sips of his water but my boy knows that is not his milk so I finally asked if I could give him his milk. Like magic he was calm as could be. My poor baby was starving. He came to work with me till lunch time and then he and I went home and played and rested. He was back to his normally self in no time. I pray that these will be the only set of tubes that he will have to get.

Sweet Boy happy as can be in his gown

Nine Months

Baby boy is 9 months today 27 3/4 in(25%) 20lbs(56%) head 55%. He still has an ear infection so he was put on more antibiotics and is scheduled to get tubes put in on Wed. I am feeling a lot better about this but still a little worried. I am hoping he will only have to get one set in. Jason continues to grow and is such a joy to be around. He is still just cursing but I am sure by next month he will be taking some steps on his own. After his 9 month check up he got the go ahead for table food and let me tell you that was the best thing ever. I dropped him off Friday after his appointment and told daycare he could have whatever they made that day and left. Well I realized I left my wallet in the diaper bag so had to go back and get it and he was in the high chair eating his first turkey sandwich and mixed veggies and was as happy as can be. Day care is also helping work on transitioning him from a bottle to a sippy cup. Over the weekend it made our meal times much easier to have him eating with us. Before he would go back and forth from me and daddy trying to get what we had on our plate and now he stuffs his face and loves it. He still only has two teeth but I can see the top two will be out soon. I do not give Jason a bath every night because his skin gets so much worse after a bath but when he is in there he loves it but the other day he got my attention and crawled down the hall into the bathroom and pulled up. Poor thing wants to get in there and play with his boat so bad...lol

Eight Months Old

So this have been a very eventful past month. Jason has had several ear infections but is still the happy smiling baby that he always seems to be. We had him on an antibiotic but that didn't seem to help so he had to get three injections. Jason normally does well with his shots as far as tolerating the pain but poor thing did not like this one. Dr O'leary said they looked much better at his last shot. We will go back soon to see if they have completely healed. I really hope they do because I do not want to have to put tubes in his ears.

On a positive note Jason has grown so much this month. He now crawls on all fours. He will still army crawl on occasion but he moves more and move on his knees. Our big boy is also pulling up on everything and cruising will doing so. He thinks is so funny to pull up on the coffee table and then back down over and over again. Mommy has been so proud but he recently lost his balance and fell and hit his mouth on the corner and as soon as mommy saw blood I kinda had a mini freak out but as usually Jason continued to smile and all was okay(except mommy's nerves every time he pulls up). Day care says it wont be long until he moves up to the creepers room but I am not sure I am ready for that. I guess it has to happen at some point.

Mommy and Daddy are so proud of the big boy you are becominng and love watching you do new things and hear you talk all day long. Daddy is excited because you said Dadi....I heard it too so it is true...lol. But back to my point. We are very proud of you but please slow down.....Mommy is going to miss my lil baby.

Seven months have come too fast

Buddy you need to slow down for mommy. Seven months have come way too fast. I love spending all my time with you. You really are a joy to be around. You are loved every where you go and apparently have many girlfriends. You have a little girl at daycare who follows you around everywhere and this past Sunday at church you and another little girl talked and played with each other the whole time. Just remember mommy is your first love ;-) You now have your two bottom teeth in. Mommy didn't think you would ever have them come through but you have been teething since about three months. You seem to be doing well and have not been fussy at all. I hope this is a good sign. You are always on the go now. Anytime we put you down you either have to follow Bailey around or come pull on my leg. I have to say you are my spoiled little baby but you are only a baby once. Every night once you have your bottle mommy kissing you on the forehead and tells you good night and places you on your back in your crib and even if your asleep when I put you down you immediately roll over to your stomach with your butt in the air and go right to sleep. I hope you continue to go down easily. You are now eating solids three times a day. You love to eat and will eat anything so far. At this stage is usually when babies have stranger anxiety or attached to mommy but not you. You tend to be content with anybody. I do love that now you will reach for me and you want me to hold you and that just melts mommies heart. You are one of a kind and mommy loves you.
