Ten months really!!!! I do not know where the time has gone but I have enjoyed every second with my son. This past month has been a crazy month. You had a really bad weekend a couple weeks ago. Daycare called me on a Friday to let me know that you had thrown up and had three diarrhea so I picked you up and brought you home. Daddy and I had a rehearsal dinner to go to Friday night and a wedding Saturday night and Nanny Jeffcoat watched you for us. Poor nanny had a rough time with you because you were just not yourself. Grandma Jeffcoat came over and had to help her Saturday night because you were so fussy and continued to throw up and have diaper explosions. Mommy felt so bad that I was not there to help you feel better. That Sunday was Easter so daddy went to church and mommy took you to the Dr where they said you had an stomach virus and an EAR INFECTION...really after tubes you still get one...oh well that's another story. You bounced back really quick and became our happy baby.
This month you have also had both your "I" teeth break and one middle tooth come in. I just love seeing you smile with those big ole teeth. You are also becoming more consistent with waving hi and bye. MAJOR milestone for mommy is that you said MAMA....you do not say it often and daddy and I believe you mock me when I try and get you to say it and all you will say is DADA....Daddy loves it though. You have become such a talker and although I have no idea what you say I love to hear you talk. One of my favorites is when you say nite nite....Every night after you have your bottle I will say nite nite and you will bury your head either into me or in the couch and say nite nite. You continue to go down well for me. However the other night when mommy went to the gym and daddy tried to put you down you cried for a while until daddy picked you back up and when mommy got home we played for a second and then I went and put you down and you went right out. We might have to make sure daddy starts to put you down more so that you can get used to him doing so. We have you drinking out of your sippy cup throughout the day and only give you a bottle when you wake up and go to bed. We will soon try and exchange those within the next two months.
Just this past weekend you have learned to clap and will do it non stop. For mommy this was one of my favorites as I have been trying to get you to clap forever. You are also starting to stand indepently. You are getting stronger each time and actualy took one step this weekend so I have a feeling that you might be walking a little this time next month. We shall see.
Mommy and daddy love you baby boy.
