Prenatal Visit #6

So today Jason and I went to my 28 week visit. I was very excited because this was the first time that Jason was able to go with me and we were having an ultrasound to check to make sure my placenta had moved up which it had. We were so excited to be able to see Jason Lee but he was being very shy. He had he head between his legs most of the time so we did not get any good pictures of his face. He is still in the breech position so I hope he starts to move into position soon. He is however weighing 2lbs 11oz and we are measuring right at 28 weeks. I met with Dr. Risinger today and I LOVE her. She was so great with answering all of Jason's guestions. Jason has been concerned since he found out there was a spot on the babys heart but I think Dr. Risinger was able to put him at ease about it. This was the visit I had to get my RhoGam shot which I was told would be in my side but it was actually in my behind. It sure did burn going in but it didn't last long. I have gained a total of 19lbs so far so I am okay with that. Our next visit is April 17 at 31 weeks. This is going by so fast.

Prenatal Visit #5

This morning I had my Glucose test. The drink was not as bad as everyone made it out to be. If you like orange slice then you will not have a problem drinking it. I should know the results within a week. We scheduled my appointments for the rest of my pregnancy which made it all seem so much closer. I found out that I will get to have another ultrasound to see my little man. They want to check and make sure that my placenta either has moved up or is still in the same place. During the atanomy scan they noticed that it is very low so they just want to monitor it. Little mans heartbeat was in the 150's so I was happy with that. My weight gain so far has been a total of 15 pounds. I am hoping to stay within the 30 to 40 pound range. My next appointment is scheduled for March 27 and I should get my RhoGham shot at this appointment since I am A-. Jason Lee has been very active these past couple of days and I am loving it. Sometimes he has his down time and I get worried but I know he has to sleep at some point. lol. Below is a picture of me right now towards the end of my 24th week.
