IT'S A BOY

Today was my 20 week anatomy scan. To be honest I was so nervous at first and I was praying that everything was okay. My sister, Blair, and Laura(which was a good suprise) went with me. I absolutely LOVED this ultrasound. They spent a lot of time going over the entire body. Baby Jason is just perfect. All measurements so far were great and he is right one track. One thing she did notice was that there was a spot on his heart or in it....not sure...but they said it is nothing to worry about. I was going back in forth on if I wanted a boy or girl and I had a feeling it was a boy the whole time but towards to end I was hoping for a girl. However when I saw my little man parts I could not have been happier. This little boy is going to steal my heart and I can not wait to see the man he grows into. Below is my little man showing off his stuff. He is not shy at all. Lets hope that changes lol. My next appointment is March 1st and at this time I will have my glucose test and schedule out the rest of my appointments. I can not believe we are half walf there. Mommy and Daddy can not wait to see your precious little face.

Movement

So yesterday was the first time that I can actually say that I felt the baby move. I have thought that I have felt "flutters" but there was not doubt about it that this baby was moving and kicking. It is just a weird yet exciting feeling. As I layed down last night to go to sleep I was really able to feel movement. I am so happy that I have finally felt movement and I can't wait to continue to feel baby J grow. Only 18 more days till I can see if baby J is a boy or a girl!!!!

Prenatal Visit 3

Today was my third prenatal visit. I was so excited to know that my weight was still the same as last month. I know now is the time where I will start gaining more weight but I just want to make sure that I am not gaining more than I should. My BP was right on track around the 130's so hoping it stays around that. Today I met with Dr. Linfert and she made a good first impression with me. We did have a little scare when she couldnt find the HB but my little one was just playing hide in seek. Once she found the HB it sounded great and was in the 150's. This visit I had two concerns to discuss with her. I have been having left knee pain when I sleep on my left side which she said is very common and suggested some things that might help. Secondly I have noticed little red dots forming on my skin in different places. I forget exactly what she called them but is was spider something. It comes from the extra hormones my body is producing and is also very common. I a very excited about my next appointment which is Jan 30. We get to find out the gender at this appointment. I have a feeling it will be a boy....what do you think?
