Today was my first day back to work and the start of daycare for Jason. IT was one of the hardest things I had to do. It makes it a little easier knowing that he is being cared for by a good provider and lots of people to love him. Work went by slow but whenever it was time to go I count not get out of the door fast enough. I walked in and jason was sitting in a bouncy just as content as can be. He did eat all the bottles I provided for him so its going to be a challange to pump what he needs while I daycare. I am hoping that I can continue to pump and it doesnt become to much for me. It was so easy while at home when I did not have to worry about pumping. Here is a picture of my sweet boy on his first day of daycare without a care in the world.

Six Week Maternity Leave
Let me tell you six weeks sure does fly by but I sure did love every minute of it. The first week home mom stayed with me and helped me out so much. We had three appointments just in the first week and then many to follow after that. Jason ended up getting jaundice and we had to put him in a bili bee for two days and that brough down his bili level however it didnt continue to go down so we ended up having to put him on formula for two days and that dropped it drasticly. It was so sad having to see him get his foot pricked each time but he was a trooper and didnt cry for long. He had some trouble gaining weight and I believe it was because I was using a nipple sheild and it was hard to get him used to my nipple again but we finally got there and now he is getting so big. I really got to enjoy being a stay at home mom for a little while and I wish I could do it forever but that just means now I have to cherish every second I get with him. Here are a couple of pictures from out time at home.
