Not too much longer
So it is November and we only have five more months until the wedding. Since the last post we have changed a lot of the plans. We are now getting married in Myrtle Beach which we are extremely happy about. It is something different and it fits out style best. I have always loved beach weddings. Wedding Chapel by the Sea will preform the ceremony and basically will provide everything for us. All we really need to do is just show up so it takes away so much of the stress that comes with planning a wedding. We will be down there in a beach house from Thursday till Sunday and most of the bridal party and a few extras will be down there with us but majority of the guest will just come down Saturday and have the option to stay if they want to book a hotel in advance. We will send out save the dates by mid December as a reminder to those who need to go ahead and reserve a room for the night. We are so excited and can't wait to officially become Mr. and Mrs. Jason Jeffcoat.

Exactly a 365 days from today
So I get to work this morning and realize that it is April 10....okay wow only 365 more days till our wedding. Granted that is a year but wow. April has already gotten here so fast that I know next April will be here in no time. I can not wait. This whole process just gets me so excited and I cant wait to me Mrs. Jeffcoat. This month will be a year that we have lived together. We closed on our house April 18, 2008 and it has gone by so fast. I know everyone thought we were crazy for moving in together after a little over three months of dating but every minute of it has been great. We are just able to eperience what life has been like to live together and get through rough times and though it may be hard sometimes, we have always been there to support one another and I am so grateful for that. Let the countdown continue!!!!!!

Springdale House and Gardens
So last night me and Jason went to the Springdale House and Gardens. This was my second time visiting them and I fell in love with them the first time around. It was more expensive than the Jasmine House so thats why we decided to go with the Jasmine house however the Springdale house was my first love. Well after thinking about it and all the frustration and stress that I would have with the Jasmine House we decided to go with the Springdale house. Jason fell in love with it once he saw it. The owners and Kathy are so great there. All they care about is making your day as special as possible. We decided to put our deposit down on the house so we are locked in now. We already decided on what food we want to serve and now we are debating on if we should have the rehershal dinner there too. It makes since and we asked her to pencil it in but until we put a deposit on that it wont be locked in for us. We have a lot of decisions to make but luckily we have a year to make them. Having so much time will allows us to buy things here and there and not stress so much over the money. We can not wait for April 10, 2010 to arrive.

I am so glad that I get to see you grow and I hope that we continue to be as close as we are now. You have been so pitiful this past week but hopefully your feeling much better on your birthday today! On the Ball
So I have over a year until my wedding but I have been in planning mode. The sooner I have it done the less stressed I will be come closer to the date. I have already got the wedding and reception booked at the riverroad and jasmine house. The Jasmine house is where stacey had her reception so that means a lot that we will be able to share that. Also mom, my bridesmaids and I went to Davids Bridal yesterday because they had a huge sale and I had a 50.00 coupon so we went to look just to see what they had. Well guess what?! I actually found and ordered my dress and the girls all agreed on a Bridesmaid dress which looks great on all of them and the color is Canary. I must have tried on over 10 dresses and at first everyone loved the third dress and all the other dresses could not compare. Well just when I got to my very last dress I walked out and knew it was the one. Mom started to cry and then that made me cry. They had to order a long and said that it could take up to six months to get here but I want to try it on again now. I did not want to take it off. Also when we left Stacey mentioned going to the oliver garden to eat and we didnt think anything of it until on the way home when Stacey mentioned that when we went to Davids Bridal in Charlotte with all her bridesmaids we all went to Oliver Garden too. I just want to me just like me sister I guess. :)

Busy weekend
Well I had a busy weekend. Saturday mom and I went and looked at The Riverroad and Jasmine house and I absolutely love it. They have a garden that is beautiful so you can have your wedding outside and are very resonable on their prices. Also in the event that it rains they can have the wedding in one of the houses in the bay window which would be pretty as well. Stacey had her reception at the Jasmine house and everyone loved it. She used Shealy's BBQ for catering as well and I believe I will be doing the same. On Sunday Blair, Laura and myself went to the bridal show and it was such a great feeling knowing that the three of us are all planning together. Granted Laura and Blairs are this year and mind is not until next year but that just means I will have plenty of help and ideas. Davids Bridal gave away a 50.00 coupon so that will definatley put to good use. More updates to come later.

Im Engaged!!!
Who would have thought that I would be engaged. I am so excited. Jason and I have been together for a year and had decided to go to Gatlinburg TN for our one year as well as for New Years Eve. My whole family and friends kept telling me that I was going to be proposed to but I did not want to get my hopes up. Well boy were they right. He could tell that something was on my mind and because I didnt think he was going to propose I told him what was bothering me and he was so sweet and told me not to worry about it and just enjoy the trip and so he needed to go to the car and get his cologne out of the car and when he came back up he knocked on the door and was down on one knee and proposed. So I may of ruined his surprise in asking me but I was still very surprised and extremely happy. At this time we are planning on getting married on April 10, 2010 so that we have plenty of time to plan and not be stressed about money.
As far as the trip goes we have a blast and well needed vacation. We got to see such pretty views and even enjoyed a horseback ride through the mountains. Jason ate at Bubba Gump Shrimp for the first time and we both REALLY enjoyed the food. I will post pictures as soon as I can but until next time.
