Prenatal visit 2

So today at 1:00 I had my second visit today and was expecting to just hear the heartbeat but as I was called back I got to see my baby again. I was not expecting another ultrasound until the anatomy scan but I was not going to complain. I was told that the baby was very active and constantly moved the whole time. At first I could not tell that the baby was moving and then one shot I saw the baby moving so much and said oh wow it is moving and she said that the baby had not stopped moving the whole time. She mentioned I might want to get my rest now because soon this baby would be going none stop and I will be able to feel it. I was also told that I had an anterior placenta and that I probably wouldnt feel the baby moves as soon as others may. Even though I am ready to feel the movements I am glad she told me so that I will not be worried later when I still have not felt anything. I also got to meet with Dr Goode. Didn't spend too much time with her as my mind went blank and did not have many questions at this time. We did talk about if I wanted to test for Downs which would be done at the next appointment. Jason wanted to but I did not. After talking with I told her my concern was false positives and she said not only that but a women just delivered and had a baby with downs and her result was negative. So with it not being 100% I am not going to take the chance and just pray that we have a healthy baby and know that God has a plan. Our next appoinment is scheduled for Jan 4. It feels like so far away but hopefully it will be here before we know it and soon to follow will be the sex of the baby. Below are some pics of my ultrasound at 12 weeks.

Our Little Monkey

Jason and I are happy to announce that we are expecting Baby J June 17, 2012. We are so excited to start this new chapter in our lives. We had our first ultrasound on October 27th and hear a perfect little heartbeat of 114. As most of my friends and family know being a mother is something that I have always dreamed about. I pray for a safe pregnancy and we can not wait to meet our little monkey. Below are some pictures of how fast I have blown up in just a couple weeks. Monday December 5th is our 12 week appointment. I am so looking forward to hearing the heartbeat again. I will be sure to update as soon as I get back from my appointment.

Happy Mother's Day(Halleluyer)

We had a wonderful mothers day today. Jason and I went to visit his step mom Dianne for a little bit before she went to her daughters house and got to spend some time with her. Pops was working so we didnt get to see him. Once we left there we went to see his mom and took her to Eat at San Jose. She was so thankful for us taking her to lunch. The simply things in life are what makes everything so special.

Later on that day my wonderful mother came and picked me up and we went to staceys to pick her up and we took mom to her favorite place to eat....FIREHOUSE SUBS...Mom can eat here every single day if there was one near her. Once we left we went to the movies where Erika met us and watched Madeas Big Happy Family. It was so funny we laughed the whole time. This was the fisrt Tyler Perry movie that Stacey has seen so it was funny to see her reaction. Going to the movies has become a new thing that mom, Stacey, and I have started doing for moms birthday and I really enjoy the time that we got to spend together. I am so glad that Erika was able to join us this time. I hope this is something that we continue to do.

Happy One Year!!!

Today Jason and I celebrated our one year. We did not do too much since we had just gone to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg the following weekend. Gatlinburg seems to be our favorite place seeing as we got engaged there. We went this past September and just last weekend. I must say everytime we go we really enjoy it. There is nothing like getting away for a nice weekend in the mountains. Our Next Trip will be somewhere beachy so I can tan. HEHE.

So today we went to the zoo this morning which was really exciting for me because I have not been in years. Jason was not feeling well but sucked it up and went because he knew I really wanted to. We then came home and grilled steaks and ate our yummy cake from one year ago. It still looked and tasted great! This past year have been one crazy yet amazing year.

I am so excited to say that I get to spend the rest of my life with Jason and to hopefully start adding to our family very soon. I just wanted to share with you a couple of my favorite pictures of Jason and I over the past couple of years.
